Ray J on Whitney Houston: ‘She Will Live In My Heart Forever’

One of the last people to see Whitney Houston alive says he’s still trying to process her loss.

It is rumored that she and Ray J were back on romantically, and he says in a statement to Celebuzz that “she will live in my heart forever.”

“Over the past few days I’ve tried to process the emptiness that I am experiencing,” Ray J says. “What my heart feels cannot be expressed in words. The world lost an icon but I lost my close friend. Nippy I miss you so much! You were so happy and full of love. Your smile will live in my heart forever.”

A private viewing is planned today for the late performer. Tomorrow’s funeral service is by invitation-only but will be streamed live online from the New Hope Baptist Church in New Jersey, the church Whitney grew up singing in.

According to TMZ, Whitney will be placed next to her father John Russell Houston, Jr. at the Fairview Cemetery in Westfield, New Jersey. The site also reports that Mel Gibson tried to help Whitney when she was going through hard times several years ago. They report that he’s unable to attend the funeral, but he was invited.

Are Chris Brown & Rihanna Collaborating on New Song?

Are they or aren’t they?

Rumors have been swirling that Chris Brown is featured on Rihanna‘s new single Birthday Cake. Considering Brown scored an invite to Rihanna’s super intimate birthday party on Monday (and sources told us they were very “friendly”) it doesn’t seem all that impossible.

Here is what we know:

Co-producers Da Internz told MTV that the Birthday Cake collaboration is going to “shock the world” causing blogs to run rampant, speculating that Chris will be on the track.

Then, a blog report widely circulated “confirmed” that it will be Brown on the song.

However, a concerned Rihanna fan (@rihannaforums) tweeted Da Internz the following:

“oh Lord! Please say the WOW collaborator is NOT that felony assault guy”

Da Internz tweeted back “NOPE” and you can see the screenshots here. The twist? The tweet is now deleted and so is the Rihanna fan account.

Guess we’re all going to have to wait and see who the secret collaborator is when the single drops.

She shot to fame when she starred alongside her siblings Keeping Up With The Kardashians.
But now, following the success of her spin-off reality show Khloe and Lamar alongside husband Lamar Odom, Khloe Kardashian is back for a second series of the programme.
However, in a promo for the upcoming series, it doesn't seem as though things will go too smoothly for Khloe, who is pushed to her limit by her beau.

The 27-year-old star is seen moving to Dallas with her 32-year-old basketball player husband after he signs up to play with Dallas Mavericks.
And after attempting to look after her husband with regular meals, Lamar gets fed up with Khloe's mothering, shouting at her: 'I'm a grown ass man, isn't that right? Stop playing with me.'
To which Khloe is then seen replying: 'I'm about to go crazy. Sometimes, a b***h snaps!'

Khloe is also seen having a heart-to-heart with her best friend, and former personal assistant, Malika.

Malika, who was last season indulging in a romance with Khloe's younger brother Rob, is seen bemoaning her latest relationship - although it is not clear to whom she is referring.
She is seen telling Khloe: 'I just can’t help who I’ve fallen in love with….I don’t want to be accused of ruining someone’s marriage.'

Khloe and Lamar are also seen having argument after the sportsman's best friend Jamie asks to live with them for six months, and another row with Khloe's brother Rob.
The pair are also seen discussing their plans to have children, after hearing that Khloe's sister Kourtney is pregnant with her second baby.
Khloe asks Lamar if he is jealous upon hearing the news, to which he replies: 'Yeah - you get to have another baby and I don't.'

And talking about Lamar's jealousy on the Today Show yesterday, Khloe said: 'Always on the plan for Lamar and I to start a family. When I heard that, it broke my heart to hear it.
'I didn't think he felt that way. Definitely we want kids but, you know, we really are just like, "When it happens, it happens." '

Khloe also took the opportunity to discuss reports she is undergoing ferlitity treatment in a bid to conceive.

She said: 'People have so many rumors out there that, you know, I'm doing fertility treatments.

'I was like, "That's presumptuous." I'm getting Valentine's Day flowers from three fertility treatments.'

'She's a beautiful baby': Solange Knowles gushes over niece Blue Ivy but says she won't be giving Beyonce mothering advice

She is the mother of a seven-year-old boy who she has described as the love of her life.
But Solange Knowles is now feeling a different kind of love after becoming an aunt for the first time after her sister Beyonce gave birth to daughter Blue Ivy last month.
And Solange said although being an aunt is very different to being a mother, she still feels a very strong bond with her niece.

She said: 'It's very different to being a mother, but there's still that sort of magnetic bond and love that you can't even put words on to describe.'
The 25-year-old singer posed for a photo shoot for Rollacoaster magazine and gave an interview in which she talked about Blue, who was born early last month.
And gushing about her gorgeous niece, she said: 'I think babies in general are so lovable - and my sister's baby, Blue, is so beautiful. She is really a beautiful little baby. It's really special to have a niece because I have a son, so I get to have a little girl too.'

But Solange, who lives in Brooklyn, New York with her son Daniel Julez, who she had with her ex-husband and childhood sweetheart Daniel Smith, said she hasn't, and won't be giving Beyonce, 30, any parenting advice.
She explained: 'I think it's really important for every mother to find their own way. I think it's actually the most annoying thing when you're a new mum and you're getting so much advice from other mothers!

'You really just have to feel it out for yourself. But she's my best friend and we talk at least every other day.'
Solange has been pretty busy recently as she is now modelling, DJing and about to make a new record.
And she said she counts Beyonce as one of her role models and said it helped her with her career.

She said: 'She was and is such a role model, but I think more so it was an insane learning process for me to have a big sister like that - to be able to see the good, the bad and everything in between that comes with fame and success, and to know what I was getting myself into.'
But Solange said she wouldn't want to be as famous as her sister because she couldn't do normal things.
She explained: 'I really enjoy my privacy and being able to walk my son to school every morning and pick him up every afternoon.

'I know that I couldn't do that if I was at the next level - privacy, as you know, it just doesn't belong to you anymore.
'I definitely made a conscious effort to stay as low key as I can and still do what I want to do.'

OLIVIA PALERMO VOOR ROCHAS

Model, tv-presentatrice en socialite Olivia Palermo vond het tijd voor een carrièreswitch. Of liever: een baantje extra. Ze is het nieuwe gezicht van Rochas parfum.

Het campagnebeeld van de nieuwste geur van Rochas, die zo rond eind van deze maand wordt gelanceerd, zal zoals gezegd worden gesierd door niemand minder dan Miss Palermo. En met die samenwerking is ze bijzonder blij, zo vertelt ze aan WWD: ‘Ik ben heel erg enthousiast over mijn samenwerking met Rochas. Mode speelde altijd al een rol in mijn leven en ik hou van de manier waarop Rochas vrouwelijkheid ademt en toch steeds blijft verrassen.’

PARISIENNE CHIC
De Amerikaanse The City-ster voegt met haar nieuwe baantje een vleugje Parisienne chic toe aan haar cv: ‘Vanwege de Franse oorsprong van Rochas denk ik dat elke vrouw dat snufje joie de vivre en zelfverzekerdheid dat Parijzenaren zo goed beheersen in haar stijl kan verwerken. Wanneer ik naar Parijs ga, kleed ik me altijd een tikje meer fashion-forward en speels.’

Wat we kunnen verwachten van de nieuwe ruiker is nog niet bekend. Wordt vervolgd dus.

VICTORIA BECKHAM VERNOEMT TAS NAAR DOCHTER HARPER!

Victoria Beckham presenteerde 12 februari in New York haar nieuwe fall/winter collectie én een gloednieuwe handtas, vermoemd naar haar dochtertje, Harper.

Vlak voor haar modeshow, die ook dit seizoen weer onderdeel uitmaakt van de New York Fashion Week plaatste Victoria Beckham een foto van de drie nieuwe suède Harper handtassen op haar Twitterpagina. “Ontmoet Harper!”, schreef de ontwerpster erbij.

De moeder van vier voegde in 2010 handtassen toe aan haar ready to wear collecties. Ze werkt daarvoor samen met Katie Hillier, die onder meer ook adviseur is voor labels als Marc by Marc Jacobs en Stella McCartney.

Victoria’s tassen verkopen doorgaans als zoete broodjes. Eén specifieke handtas was op modewebshop Net-A-Porter binnen een uur uitverkocht, ondanks de hoge prijs van 1700 pond.
